The school provides a four/eight-week (125-hour) certification program. This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Minnesota Nursing Assistance Certification Examinations. At the completion of this course, students are expected to write the Minnesota State Certification Examination leading to the licensure of successful candidates as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and the Home Health Aide (HHA). It is an intensive program that adequately prepares graduates to work in hospitals, clinics and Residential Group home setting. This increases the job opportunities and earning a potential of the NAMA graduates who are also low-income families.
